Cambourne Shed is working with Cambourne Town Council, Cambourne Scouts and Cambourne Girl Guides to establish a permanent premises for all 3 groups in Cambourne. A working group under the name ‘Greenbank Community Steering Group‘ has been established to this end, with representatives from each group and the Town Council. Meetings are chaired by the Town Council’s Projects Officer.
The modular building would be located in the area of Crow Hill allotments and would be for principal use by these 3 groups, but also available for community hire.
The building is currently due for installation in September and scheduled to be available for use by the end of 2026 (weather permitting).
